Irene Hsu is a senior majoring in English Literature, minoring in Computer Science. As a Research Assistant, she works on the Poetic Media Lab's Lacuna Stories, a social annotation platform for classroom learning. She writes and reads poetry, fiction, the things in between, and the things beyond. She is also picking out tunes on the ukulele.
Emily Schneider Defends her PhD on Lacuna and Annotation for Learning
Emily Schneider defended her PhD dissertation, "Designing Digital Tools for Digital Reading," in the Graduate School of Education's PhD program in Learning Sciences and Technology Design. Her case studies and data were drawn from college classrooms using Lacuna, a digital annotation tool created by the Poetic Media Lab. Congratulations, Dr. Schneider!
